How do i use the gems like citrine, garnet and quartz.
Talk to Daphne in Crescentheart South. She's in the shop on the left with the ring outside. Chat with her, and part of her conversation tree should give you an "Enchanting 101" primer:
Note that in the current public build you should probably have more like 21-22 mana to cast soul trap. That will be fixed in the next update.Daphne wrote: Enchanting 101
Step 1: Learn the soul trap spell. Note this this spell is very mana intensive, with costs that scale with the level of the target to be captured. In general it is recommended to not try enchanting until you have at least 20 mana.
Step 2: Acquire and equip a gemstone. With the gemstone equipped, cast soul trap on a tower monster, then win the battle to trap the target's soul in the gem. Spell effect is determined by gemstone type, while the strength of its effect is determined by the level of the soul captured.
Step 3: Return to Daphne, pay an exorbitant fee to permanently enchant the gem's magic into a piece of equippable jewelry.
